Enriched Air Diver
Maximize Safety and Bottom Time!
The PADI Enriched Air Diver Course with AQUASUB SCUBA DIVING CENTRE
The PADI Enriched Air Diver course, also known as the Nitrox course, is designed to provide divers with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely plan and execute dives using enriched air, or a higher percentage of oxygen in the breathing gas than what is found in normal air.
During the course, you will learn about the benefits and potential hazards of using enriched air, as well as how to properly analyze and label nitrox cylinders, and how to plan and execute dives using nitrox. You will also learn about the special considerations and procedures for using nitrox, such as adjusting dive tables and monitoring oxygen exposure.
To enroll in the PADI Enriched Air Diver course, you must have a minimum of the PADI Open Water Diver certification or equivalent, and be at least 12 years old. The course typically includes both classroom and practical sessions, and culminates in several open water dives where you will apply the knowledge and skills you have learned while using nitrox.
The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is an excellent opportunity for divers who want to extend their bottom time and reduce the risks of decompression sickness. However, it is important to remember that using nitrox requires additional knowledge and skills to use safely, and should only be attempted by divers who are properly trained and prepared.
The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba diving course, and it’s easy to see why. Scuba diving with Enriched Air Nitrox gives you more no decompression dive time. This means more time underwater, especially on repetitive scuba dives.
